A beautiful performance of the hymn ‘Deep Harmony’ and a rousing rendition of the Test Piece ‘Images for Brass’ saw the Silver Band achieving more success at the Holmfirth Contest yesterday. Competing in a strong combined 2nd/3rd Section line up of Bands, whilst placed 5th overall we won awards for best 3rd Section Band and best percussion section!! Jason again covered the Principal Cornet role and a big thanks again to Dennis Hadfield for his help over the the last few weeks. Brilliant!!
