The Silver Band are celebrating after being crowned Third Section National Champions at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, held at The Centaur, Cheltenham on Sunday 14 September.

Drawn late in the day at number 19 out of 20 bands, the band, under the direction of our conductor Jason M. Smith, delivered a polished and powerful performance that impressed the adjudicators and secured the bands 2nd national finals victory in 3 years!

Another proud day for the band and for the village of Dobcross. Once again a big thank you to our sponsors and friends for their tremendous support along the way!

The band are now looking forward to our next contest, which is the Red Admiral Entertainments Contest in 2 weeks time.
