The Silver Band provided a superb finale to an amazing 2023 with their annual Christmas concert. Full of festive favourites and great soloist items the concert was enjoyed to the full once again by a packed audience at the Band Club. Excellent concert on Saturday at the beautiful Greenacres Congregational Church. On a night of awful weather conditions the audience were treated to a rousing selection of Christmas favourites and superb soloist performances. A big thank you to the Church wardens and members who looked after us so well on the evening!!

Well! What a fantastic end to our 2023 Showcase Brass season. The Lindley Band didn’t disappoint! Look out for next years list of bands that will be here for yet another year of superb banding!!

The Band were performing once again yesterday, rather different surroundings, leading the annual Oldham Christmas Parade in the Town Centre. The unpleasant weather didnt deter the many thousands who came out to watch as always. The event always features a variety of entertainment and precedes the Christmas Lights Switch On later in the day.
