A superb performance by the Silver Band at the Hebden Bridge March and Hymn Contest brought another trophy, as best 3rd Section Band. Indeed, an overall position of 6th out of 15, ahead of several bands from higher sections was quite outstanding. Next contest at Brighouse on 2 July!!

There was a fantastic atmosphere in all the villages we competed in as always, what a great night! Thanks to all the Whit Friday volunteers and organisers for their hard work and dedication to keeping Whit Friday going. We can’t wait for next year’s greatest free show on earth!!

We had a great day out at the Holmfirth Contest (3rd April 2022). We were awarded best hymn tune’ and best overall test piece prize’ (1st Place in both!) making us Holmfirth 4th Section Champions!
